Lancelot Woodcarving Discs take the muscle work out of woodcarving with their speed, power and maneuverability. The secret is in the special chain saw blade which is securely held between two stainless steel plates. Mount the 4" dia. Lancelot in your 4" or 4-1/2" angle grinder and watch the chips fly! It easily cuts the hardest woods regardless of grain or knots. The 14-tooth model is great for "roughing out" the 22-tooth model and leaves a smoother "finished" surface. Teeth can be resharpened using a standard chain saw file. Maximum 14,000 RPM. Chains can not be interchanged between models. Squire Mini Woodcarving Discs can be attached to another disc for the ultimate in power carving! It can be used alone as a small carving disc by attaching the 3-3/8" dia. Squire to a Lancelot Disc with the Universal Mounting Nut. You can effectively double your cutting capacity. You not only remove waste material faster but curved work, like the inside of bowls, is easier and smoother than when using a single disc. Fits all mini grinders with 5/8" x 11 TPI arbors.

This is not the first time i order one of these carving discs. Disc comes sealed and packed well, cutting chain comes with a little of oil so it will not get rusty. Sharpness of all thooths is extraordinary. Have made several wooden projects very fast. USE WITH CAUTION, EXTREMELY DANGEROUS IF NOT USED PROPERLY. Decided to purhcaise a second for tandem configuration, also purchaise the smaller one (Squire). 100% recommendable to any woodworker, just be sure to read which angle grinders wont work with the disc, i belive killer brand doesnt, but be sure. I recommend searching on youtube several videos, and check their website, you will find there videos and all posible configurations and more important that that WHAT NOT TO DO.

This was my first time to cut glass, and this product works great. I would recommend this to anyone.

 "Works as advertised" 2009-01-11
By Larry E. Page (All over the USA (Fulltime RVer))
I purchased these drill its to make 1/2" holes in glass bricks & bottles so that my wife could put small Christmas lights inside as a holiday decoration. They work well but since there is no centering bit it would be very difficult to start a hole with a hand drill. fortunately I had access to a portable drill press so they worked quite easily. As a caveat, you should go slow with a minimum of pressure and be sure to use water to cool and lubricate as you drill.

 "Diamond Dust Hole Saws" 2008-12-24
By Greg in Alaska (Eagle River, AK United States)
Great product for a good price. No problem drilling through tile. The smaller sizes (e.g., 1/4", 5/16", & 3/8") do not have any means of clearing the flute of debris, whereas other hole saws have openings for just such a purpose. This is the only reason I rate this product a 4 rather than 5; otherwise, a great product that I'd recommend to anyone who needs to drill through ceramic tile.

"Worked great on Granite countertop" 2008-11-11
By PJIV (Jackson, MS)
Bought the set to drill a hole in 3/4 thick granite countertop to install an undercounter water filter system. Was worried that I needed a much more expensive tool, but it worked like a charm, cutting the hole in less than five minutes of drilling. I kept the bit wet with a sprayer, and used the tip from another poster to clamp a board over the spot and use it as a drill guide.

Not sure whether I will need the rest of the bits, but is a nice tool to have handy in the future.

 "Worked great" 2008-09-18
By Brett R. Cordell (Beaverton, OR United States)
I ordered these hole saws because I wanted to convert a Wine bottle into a lamp.

Unlike the other reviewers I used a wood clamp to hold the bottle on my Drill press. It is recommended to use them at 300 RPM, but my drill press only goes down to 500. I used a small water spritster to wet the area and occasionally add water to the cut. The hole saw worked well in this application.

The problem with using a hole saw without an Arbor is that it will "Wander" and not make a clean initial cut. Once the hole is started it is fine. That is why I used the clamp and drill press. I also wanted to save all of the labels on the bottle, so I minimized the amount of water used. I did also cover the labels with shrink wrap and masking tape to protect them from accidental water damage.
